My name is Josh Solly, and I’ve spent the last 25 years helping the valley’s premier log homes maintain their timeless beauty value.
I know, sometimes things get away from you, but don’t worry we can restore your home to its original luster and through proper maintenance keep it that way indefinitely without the need to stain again. We keep your home protected from the elements with a clear coat maintenance program every 3-4 years on the south and west faces, and 5-7 years on the north and east exposures.

Traditional “penetrating” oils leave nothing on the surface to protect your wood, and lead to fading from water exposure and darkening from sun exposure.
Our products protect at the surface where it’s needed. As long as you stay on top of your maintenance, there will be no fading or darkening, and no need for re-staining. Staining a log home involves a great deal of detailed work cutting in around the chinking to retain it’s visual appeal. Once that’s done, you don’t want to have to re-do that work.
Our products are superior to traditional oils in every way, environmentally friendly and non-flammable. There will never be oily rags or solvents dumped in your yards. There will never be a fire from painting rags, which have burnt many a home to the ground. And your insurance company will also appreciate that.
